DOuG is a pioneering PetTech product redefining how people understand and care for their animals.
By combining neuroscience and AI, DOuG translates pets’ brain activity into meaningful insights about their emotional and cognitive well-being.
The venture was co-created by DigitSense and Hatch Duo, bringing together Hatch Duo’s expertise in hardware design with DigitSense’s capabilities in AI system development and mobile application engineering.
Together, we designed a new way to connect human empathy with scientific intelligence, giving pet owners real visibility into their companions’ inner world.
The project set out to develop a first-of-its-kind AI-powered ecosystem where a wearable EEG device works in tandem with a dedicated mobile application.
The EEG hardware captures neural signals from the pet, while the mobile app and AI models interpret those signals into clear, actionable insights.
Through the app, users can monitor their pets’ stress levels, engagement patterns, and emotional states in real time.
Beyond data tracking, the app delivers adaptive training recommendations, environmental adjustments, and early wellness alerts, helping owners act proactively and strengthen their bond with their pets.
